
Paul Elder & Company published a great deal of ephemera over many years, the bulk of which coincided with Elder’s career as a publisher 1898-1917. For our purposes on this website, what Elder called “books and booklets” comprise the checklist, while everything else is here in the ephemera section.
Elder was rather casual in his use of words such as “leaflet,” “motto,” and “broadside,” and thus ephemeral items which Elder put in one cubbyhole could often fit into another.
