In 2023, I was invited by the Book Club of California to give the 2023 Kenneth Karmiole Endowed Lecture on the History of the Book Trade in California and the West. I took the opportunity to also curate an exhibition on Paul Elder & Company for their display cases.
The exhibit opened on 6 November 2023 and ran through 12 February 2024. Here are some photos from the exhibition.
